ICCN is focused on bridging the digital divide which has inspired our engineering teams to develop other connectivity methods to reach less connected communities.  To accomplish that task, our teams in conjunction with our technology partners expand our wireless solutions into more specialized radio frequencies designed to reduce barriers such as environment, distance, deployment, and interference, among others.

Accomplishing that objective requires technology that reaches further and utilizes the newly available spectrum allocated by various governmental agencies.  ICCN meets those needs with two advanced solutions that address different RF spectrum needs but compliments the rest of our product line, delivering the most complete set of RF spectrum support by any vendor in the industry.

arcCELL CBRS/LTE and 5G Wireless Broadband

arcCELL is a ground-breaking broadband access system that lets users access the internet over a hybrid fixed wireless solution. No longer limited to low data rates, working at hotspots, arcCELL also helps communities bridge the digital divide.

The arcCELL system is fully compliant with 3GPP and IEEE802.16e standards, which incorporates advanced technologies including OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access), MIMO (multiple input multiple outputs), and advanced link adaptation and scheduling.  Featuring integrated digital and radio units, these eNodeBs reduce deployment costs.

Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) is a 150 MHz wide broadcast band of the 3.5 GHz band (3550 MHz to 3700 MHz) in the United States. This newly available band provides another tool for service providers and other entities to bridge the digital divide, enable enterprise private LTE networks, and increase mobility across all market segments.  The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) completed a process that began in 2012 to establish rules for commercial use of this band.

New rules allow CBRS networks to be able to deploy 5G mobile networks without having to acquire spectrum licenses.
