7.3 Commands for DHCP option 60 and option 43

7.3.1 option 43 ascii LINE

Command: option 43 ascii <LINE>
no option 43
Function: Configure option 43 character string in ascii format via IP DHCP Pool Mode. The no command deletes the configured option 43.
Parameters:

  • <LINE>: The configured option 43 character string with ascii format. The valid length range is between 1 and 255.

Command mode: IP DHCP Pool Mode
Default: No option 43 character string is configured.
Usage guide: Configure option 43 character string with ascii format in IP DHCP Pool Mode.
Example: Configure option 43 with ascii format to be ?AP 1000?.

7.3.2 option 43 hex WORD

Command: option 43 hex <WORD>
no option 43
Function: Configure option 43 character string in hex format via IP DHCP Pool Mode. The no command deletes the configured option 43.
Parameters:

  • <WORD>: The configured option 43 character string in hex format, such as a1241b.

Command mode: IP DHCP Pool Mode
Default: No option 43 is configured.
Usage guide: When using hex method to configure option 43, the string needs to be written according to TLV (Type-Length-Value) format. For example, issue the IP address of 10.1.1.1 through option 43. The hex string should be 01040A010101, Type=0x01 is the IP address, Length=0x04 is the IP address length of 4 Bytes, Value=0x0A010101 is the hexadecimal format of 10.1.1.1.
Example: Configure option 43 with hexadecimal format of ?01040a010101?.

7.3.3 option 43 ip A.B.C.D

Command: option 43 ip <A.B.C.D>
no option 43
Function: Configure option 43 character string in IP format via IP DHCP Pool Mode. The no command deletes the configured option 43.
Parameters:

  • <A.B.C.D>: configured option 43 in IP format (such as 192.168.1.1).

Command mode: IP DHCP Pool Mode
Default: No option 43 is configured.
Usage guide: Use this command to configure option 43 (such as ?192.168.1.1?). The option 43 filled in packets will be ?C0A80101?.
Example: Configure option 43 in IP format as ?192.168.1.1?.

7.3.4 option 60 ascii LINE

Command: option 60 ascii <LINE>
no option 60
Function: Configure option 60 character string with ascii format via IP DHCP Pool Mode. The no command deletes the configured option 60.
Parameters:

  • <LINE>: configured option 60 character string in ascii format. The valid length is between 1 and 255.

Command mode: IP DHCP Pool Mode
Default: No option 60 character string is configured.
Usage guide: The option 60 string parameter of the access point to udhcp 1.12.1. The option 60 string parameter of other access points is udhcp 1.18.2.
Example: Configure option 60 with ascii format as ?AP 1000?.

Command: option 60 hex <WORD>
no option 60
Function: Configure option 60 character string in hex format via IP DHCP Pool Mode. The no command deletes the configured option 60.

  • <WORD>: The configured option 60 character string in hex format, such as a1241b.

Command mode: IP DHCP Pool Mode
Default: No option 60 is configured.
Usage guide: Configure option 60 character string in hex format via IP DHCP Pool Mode.
Example: Configure option 60 in hex format as ?41502031303030?.

Command: option 60 ip <A.B.C.D>

Function: Configure option 60 character string in IP format via IP DHCP Pool Mode. The no command deletes the configured option 60.
Parameters:

  • <A.B.C.D>: configured option 60 in IP format (such as 192.168.1.1).

Command mode: IP DHCP Pool Mode
Default: No option 60 is configured.
Usage guide: Use this command to configure option 60, such as ?192.168.1.1? – packet option 60 matched with the configured option 60 is ?C0A80101?.
Example: Configure option 60 in IP format as ?192.168.1.1?.
