19.1 AC configuration command
19.1.1 wds-group<1-8>
Function: Adds a WDS AP group configuration based on WDS configuration. The no command deletes the WDS group.
Parameters: <1-8>: the number of WDS AP group.
Default: None
Command mode: Wireless Config
Usage guide: If the WDS AP group does not exist, add a WDS AP group configuration. Enter the WDS AP group configuration mode; it is a rewriteable parameter.
Example: Add a WDS group 1.

19.1.2 group-name <name>
Function: Name the WDS AP configuration group. The no command resets the name of the particular WDS AP group to the default name.
Parameters: <name>: represents the name of WDS AP group; the length is 1-32 characters, including numbers, letters, and special characters/symbols.
Default: WDS-AP-Group-n; n represents the corresponding WDS AP group number.
Command mode: WDS AP Group Config
Usage guide: Configuration of the name of the WDS AP group.
Example: Set the name of the particular group?WDS group1 as abc.

19.1.3 password <password>
Function: Set up the password to connect WDS in the AP of the WDS AP group. The no command resets the password in the WDS AP group to the defaullt: AP- group-n.
Parameters: <password>: represents the WDS AP group password. The length is between 8-63 characters, including numbers, letters, and special characters/symbols.
Default: AP-Group-n; n represents the corresponding WDS AP group number.
Command mode: WDS AP Group Config
Usage guide: This command sets the password to be used in the WDS connection to the WDS AP group.
Example: Set up password of 1234567890 when connecting WDS for the AP of WDS AP group 1.
active500EM(config-wireless)#wds-group 1 active500EM(config-wds-ap-group)#password 1234567890 The valid AP group entry is updated. The new password may disconnect the WDS links that are already connected.
19.1.4 password encrypted <password>
Function: Create an encrypted password for connecting the AP in the WDS AP group.
Parameters: <password>: the WDS AP group configuration encrypted password; the length is 128 characters.
Default: None
Command mode: WDS AP Group Config
Usage guide: Set up the 128 digits encrypted password that is used to connect the WDS AP group.
Example: Set up the 128 digits encrypted password that is used to connect the WDS AP group.

Function Add AP MAC to the WDS AP group.
Parameters [spanning-tree priority <0-61440>]: represents adding priorty value in the STP of the WDS AP group.
The no command represents deleting the existing AP in the particular WDS AP groups. <macaddr>: MAC address that needs to be added to the WDS AP. spanning-tree priority <0-61440>: the STP priority value that is added to the WDS AP group's AP configuration.
Default spanning-tree priority <0-61440> default value is 36864.

Usage guide Add 2 AP in the WDS group 1. One of the spanning tree priority values is 5000.
Example Add AP to the WDS group.

Function Set up the WDS connection in the WDS AP group, and set the pathcost value to particular devices. The
no command has two functions: 1. When the parameter [spanning-tree pathcost <0-255>] is entered, it means that the STP pathcost value has been reset to default. 2. If a parameter is not entered, the no command entered means that the WDS connection, which has already been set up, should be deleted.
Parameters srcap <macaddr>: MAC address of the AP connected with WDS.
radio <1-2>: the radio signal that the AP uses to connect to WDS. dstap <macaddr>: the MAC address that is the destination of the WDS connection. radio <1-2>: radio signal of the AP connected with WDS. [spanning-tree pathcost <0-255>]: configure particular WDS connection STP pathcost value; this parameter can be selected as a configuration parameter.
Default parameter spanning-tree pathcost <0-255>.Default value as 40.

Usage guide Configure linkage on the WDS group.
Example Both AP: f8-f7-d3-00-03-a0, f8-f7-d3-00-03-60 using radio 1 to build up linkage. The linkage value

Function If both the group WDS AP and the identified AP are not appointed, it will display the associated WDS
AP. If it only designates the WDS AP but not the identified AP, it will display all the WDS AP messages in the WSD group. If both of the WDS AP group and identified AP are appointed, it will show the particular WDS AP status message.
Parameters <1-8>: the particular WDS AP group number. This parameter is optional.
<macaddr>: MAC address can be selected; if the MAC address is appointed, it will display the message for the designated WDS AP.
